Grands Stepping Up
Grands Stepping Up (GSU) is a nonprofit organization supporting grandparents and kinship guardians who are raising grandchildren due to circumstances such as substance use, incarceration, mental health challenges, or parental illness or death. GSU provides holistic support - including financial, legal, emotional, and social services - to strengthen kinship families and educate community systems about their unique needs.
GriefKnits Support Group
Drew Michael Taylor Foundation Grief Center
The GriefKnits support group combines creative activities with peer support for individuals grieving the death of a loved one. Participants can learn to knit or crochet (or bring an existing craft project) while connecting with others in a supportive, welcoming environment that promotes healing and well‑being.
GSU Denis' Pantry
Grands Stepping Up
GSU’s Denis’ Pantry is a community food pantry operated by Grands Stepping Up that provides support to grandparents and kinship guardians raising children, and it is the only GSU program open to all Delaware County residents. The pantry offers scheduled distributions from Bethany Evangelical Presbyterian Church, with required registration and documentation for participation.

GRASP (Grief Recovery After Substance Passing) is a peer support community for individuals who have lost a loved one to substance use or overdose. The group offers compassionate, nonjudgmental support from others with lived experience, helping participants grieve, connect, and heal without blame or stigma.
Hatboro Parent Partnership
Be a Part of the Conversation
Parent Partnership Meetings offer peer‑led support for parents and caregivers concerned about a loved one’s substance use. Meetings are led by volunteers with lived experience and provide a confidential, welcoming space for parents to support parents.
Healing Hearts Grief Support Group
Blair Drug and Alcohol Partnerships
Healing Hearts is a facilitated peer support group for family members and friends grieving the loss of a loved one to addiction. The group provides a confidential, supportive space to share experiences, find connection, and work toward healing with others who understand this loss.
Healing Patch
Home Nursing Agency
The Healing Patch Program provides free, supportive grief services for children, teens, young adults, and families following the death of a significant person. Services include family peer-support groups, young adult groups, family grief workshops, and school-based services offered through community and regional locations.
Healing Together Support Group

Healing Together support group is a discussion–based grief support group for adults grieving the death of a loved one. Participants include individuals coping with loss due to illness, accident, overdose, or suicide and benefit from shared discussion, reflection, and connection in a supportive environment.
Herren Project
Herren Project
Herren Project is a national nonprofit providing free resources and support for the treatment, recovery, and prevention of substance use disorder. Services include treatment placement assistance, recovery support for individuals and families, online support groups, and scholarships for treatment, recovery housing, and recovery coaching, as well as prevention and wellness programs for schools and communities.
Hope After Loss
Nar-Anon Family Groups
Hope After Loss (HAL) is a global online Nar‑Anon support group for individuals and families grieving the death of a loved one due to addiction. Using a 12‑step model, HAL offers a compassionate space to share experiences, build connection, and find hope in recovery, welcoming anyone affected by a loved one’s substance use regardless of stage of grief or loss.
